An artist-as-service-worker consulting firm performing a variety of services for a fee/compensation/reward, in collaboration with Dan Nelson and others.
Imperial Services is a consulting firm that offers Art As a Service (AAAS), including but not limited to experiences, performances, and commissioned objects, to clients for a fee/compensation/reward. It is a collaboration with artist Dan Nelson and other local artist service workers. We launched the Bay Area presence of the consultancy in December 2019, with an open office residency at Pro Arts and Commons in Oakland. The COVID-19 pandemic has temporarily put a damper on some availability.
Services include reading theory in poetry voice or song, being an educated, charming dining companion, organizing a client’s collections on shelves, and so, so many more. One can become a client, or a consultant, by contacting us. The initial consultation is free and there is no obligation to participate. We, too, like to just chat and explore the possibilities. We have an extensive menu of services. This is by no means comprehensive: each service begins with and is tailored to the specific needs and desires of the client.
