Seniors to Seniors- Words of Wisdom. Local senior citizens and high school seniors contemplated words of wisdom & understanding, to be shared with their senior counterparts in this sign exchange. The (older) seniors' signs were installed at New Smyrna Beach High School and the high school seniors' at Atlantic Center for the Arts’ Harris House. This project was developed by the accidental misuse of the word senior and all of its implications of age, hierarchy, responsibility and wisdom.

I hosted a temporary “senior club” in New Smyrna Beach (open to any self identified person over 50), with a series of activities involving meals, recipes, photo portraits, interviews, workshops, and activities that lend themselves to storytelling. Conversation prompts included abilities changing, nostalgia, and collecting.
